Visual Cues:

What visual instructions or reminder cues should be accessible to support performance of these social communication skills?

To support the student across lessons and over time, be sure to create and adapt visual supports to help maintain skills and comprehension.  These visual cues may be rule and reminder cards, printed images, comic illustrations, checklists, or anything else the student finds helpful.  Here are several basic images that might be used to remind the student of key concepts:

Reminder cards provide the key points and are easy-to-reference tools.  Below are reminder and rule cards for defining a friend, getting together with co-workers, and using social networking sites:

In my design of each visual support, have I considered whether the student may need visual clarity cues (added to the communication script or scenario, schedule, graphic organizer, social narrative, and / or video model) to highlight (label) or emphasize key features or concepts?

In order to align this intervention topic area with the unique needs of the student, do you need to create visual instructions and reminder cues in the View2do program?
