Social Narratives:

Can the key elements of this skill be appropriately depicted and connected in a social narrative?

The social narrative may prove helpful in customer service or in a variety of Job Keeping tasks. For information regarding customer service strategies, refer to Retail Operations. Otherwise, the details of job positions and projects will primarily be addressed through to-do lists and visual cues. There may be a variety of job-keeping issues that would respond positively to the use of social narratives, so consider the type of problems that would arise in construction or automotive work.

How can you visually or thematically incorporate the student’s interests and preferences into this social narrative to increase motivation and engagement?
