
What visual instructions or reminder cues should be present in each space to support sequenced and organized performance? Where should these be placed?
Some students may need a reminder card affixed to their desk or work area, or to the front of a notebook(s). A card dealing with how to ask for help when sick or hurt might need to be kept in a wallet, backpack or by a phone to ensure they follow the reminders to stay safe and healthy.
These cues may be very simple or more complex depending on the level of the student. Below are a variety of examples of portable visual reminder cues – most are designed to support the student who does not seek help enough, and one cue is designed to support the student who seeks help too frequently:
