Visual Cues:

What visual instructions or reminder cues should be accessible to support performance of this social communication skill?

What visual instructions or reminder cues should be accessible to support performance of this self-regulation skill? Where should these be placed?

Some students might need a reminder card with suggestions in handling compliments. This needs to be visible on the student’s work area so that he can refer to it as needed.  Consider how these visual cues might support performance in role-play scenarios as well.

In my design of each visual support, have I considered whether the student may need visual clarity cues (added to the communication script or scenario, graphic organizer, social narrative, and / or video model) to highlight (label) or emphasize key features or concepts?
