"Things I Like About You!"

Objective:  To enhance social skills and to promote positive interactions between peers.

• "Things I Like About You!" (.pdf file)

Instructions for teacher / parent:

1. Cut out the hearts.
2. Write a student's name on each heart.
3. Distribute the hearts to the class; no student should receive the heart with their own name on it.
4. Direct students to write down 2 interesting facts / positive characteristics about their classmate.
5. Once all students have completed the assignment, read each student's heart aloud.
6. Students can try to guess who their "heart friend " is.
7. Post completed hearts on a social skills or character education bulletin board.
