• Break directions into steps
• Provide and post a visual model
• Use a color-coded system
• Use a Homework Agenda Folder as a daily organizer
• Give the student an additional desk
• Have students partake in clean-up
• Provide a checklist
• Include names on all supplies
• List required materials on notebook cover
• Assign a peer to assist student
