Overview

The internet is an increasingly popular place to search for jobs.  There are many websites on the internet that can be used to conduct a job search.  The types of jobs posted on these websites may vary.  For example, some websites post jobs that are more professional in nature or require higher education.  Other sites post jobs that do not require a professional or college degree to be eligible for the job.  Additionally, the way in which you search for jobs within these sites varies.

These websites are good ones to start with, but they are certainly not the only good websites available for job hunting.  There are many other job search sites on the internet. You will not want to use all the sites listed above, nor should you try all three of the approaches listed above.  That would be too overwhelming and difficult to keep track of.  Instead, look through several of the sites and choose one or two sites that you would like to start with. 

Two people searching the webIf you are not proficient with using the internet, you should get someone to help you with your internet job search.  Ask a family member, job coach, mentor, or teacher to assist you.  These websites can be quite confusing.
