	Pre-Employment Assessment Tips

We have created two practice assessments for you.  We recommend that you complete both practice assessments because the actual questions and formats are somewhat different.  

Each practice assessment contains 50 items.  Take your time as you work through these assessments.  You do not need to complete both assessments in the same day.  Ask for assistance if needed (from a parent, teacher, coach, mentor, etc). 

You will not receive a score on these assessments.  Our goal is for you to practice taking these assessments and to use the answer keys to understand what types of responses the companies are looking for.  You can take these practice assessments as many times as you want.

Please remember that the purpose of these assessments is to teach you how to take the assessments, and not necessarily how we recommend that you handle work situations in real life.  As you complete these practice assessments, please know that these are the answers we think that the company is looking for from most applicants. 

However, we are not suggesting that these answers are always the right thing to do in real life.  You should refer the JobTIPS Keeping a Job section to help you learn how to handle real situations at work.
