Large Job Search Websites - Reviewing Job Listings

Once you have done your search, these websites should show you potential job listings that are available. 

You can usually click on the job listing and it will show you more information about the job.  At this point, you are often taken directly to the webpage of the company that posted the job listing. 

This webpage usually provides some general information about the job.  For example, there may be information about:

• Job responsibilities and duties
• Work hours required
• Full time or part time
• Job location
• Required skills and qualifications

Read this information and decide whether you are interested in the job.  Again, it helps to talk this over with someone (a family member, teacher, counselor, etc.). 

Applying for the Job

Let’s say you have found a job you are interested in-that’s great! Now, it is time to apply for the job.  The majority of these jobs require you to apply online.
