Teamwork - Use Your Strengths & Talents
Everyone on a team has different strengths and interests. Everyone also has weaknesses, and that is okay. When you are working on a team, it is a good idea to try to volunteer for the roles and tasks that "play" to your strengths. This means you should try to assume the role that allows you to use and show more of your strengths as they relate to your job.
When you get to use your strengths, it is more likely that you will feel comfortable and successful in your job.
Keep in mind that you might not always get to do all of the tasks that you want to do. You might have to do some tasks that are harder for you, or some tasks that are not as interesting. That is part of being a team player. Everyone has to do this sometimes.

- Tasks that “play to your strengths” are ones that you are good at and feel comfortable with.
- Sometimes you cannot always do the task that plays to your strengths, and that is OK. It is OK to challenge yourself and try something new
