Making Friends - Overview

Work is a common place to make friends.  You spend a lot of time with your co-workers, and you may get to know them fairly well.  Getting to know your co-workers and making friends with them can be a lot of fun. 

If you enjoy spending time with your co-workers, that is great!  It is nice to be able to get along and have fun with others while you work.  This section offers some tips that can help you make and keep friends at work.

Making friends at work is great BUT please keep in mind they are people that you will need to work with even if the friendship ends. Be cautious of what you say and do around co-workers even if you consider them friends.  Be mindful of how you talk about co-workers and the company as well as of what personal information you share.  Working in a professional and friendly manner should always be your goal.
